My Parking Spot

In Uncategorized on January 20, 2011 at 4:19 pm

My spot is the one no one else wants. Good, cause that way I always get it. At the top of the deck, farthest from the door. I get out and stop. Taking a moment to stop and breathe, facing the skyline my back to the impending days weight. Imagination can roam free up here, is the quiet of the mornings stillness. What is out there in the city ?Who is there living a life unknown to us up here? I don’t know , but the possibilities are thrilling.

Behind me, far away (it seems) I can here the others. Their sounds carried on the cold wind that is brushing my ear. They seem Focused, and energetic. And I hope for their sake they have their own Parking Spot, where they can stand above it all and take a moment to enjoy quietness and the infinite possibilities of “What If” that stretches out before them.
